Sautéed Veal Liver With Onion Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 scallion or 1 onion, chopped fine
- Oil and butter
- Veal liver, sliced thin
- Salt
- Pepper
- Pinch of chopped parsley
- Lemon juice
Method
- 1 Chop the scallion or onion finely. Brown it in oil and butter over medium heat until it turns a dark red color.
- 2 Add the thin slices of veal liver to the pan. Cook until half done, then season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of chopped parsley.
- 3 Simmer on low heat until cooked through, allowing the juices to form a gravy. Serve in the gravy with a squeeze of lemon juice.
