Sautéed Swiss Chard With Cranberries
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 cups Swiss chard (1 pound, stems chopped and leaves sliced)
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
Method
- 1 Wash hands with soap and water. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- 2 Add chopped onion and cook until softened. Add Swiss chard stems and sauté until beginning to soften.
- 3 Increase heat to high. Add Swiss chard leaves and dried cranberries.
- 4 Cook until chard is wilted, then turn off heat. Cover skillet and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
