Sautéed Swiss Chard With Cranberries

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 6 cups Swiss chard (1 pound, stems chopped and leaves sliced)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Method

  1. 1 Wash hands with soap and water. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. 2 Add chopped onion and cook until softened. Add Swiss chard stems and sauté until beginning to soften.
  3. 3 Increase heat to high. Add Swiss chard leaves and dried cranberries.
  4. 4 Cook until chard is wilted, then turn off heat. Cover skillet and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
