Sausage Stuffed Acorn Squash
Ingredients
- 3 acorn squash
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1 tsp sage
- bread crumbs
Method
- 1 Wash squash, cut in halves, and remove seeds.
- 2 Place a tablespoon of molasses in each half and sprinkle with salt and sage.
- 3 Fill the cavity with sausage and top with bread crumbs.
- 4 Place halves in a baking pan with an inch of water, cover, and bake at 400°F for 40 minutes.
- 5 Remove cover and brown the tops.
