Sardine Paste Canapés With Egg And Gherkin
Ingredients
- sardines (skin removed)
- round of toasted bread
- 1 gherkin
- 1 hard-boiled egg, finely chopped
Method
- 1 Remove skin from sardines and pound them into a smooth paste.
- 2 Spread a thick layer of the sardine paste over the toasted bread.
- 3 Slice the gherkin very thinly and arrange overlapping slices around the edge.
- 4 Place finely chopped hard-boiled egg in the center and serve immediately.
