Sardine Egg Yolk Toast With Lemon
Ingredients
- 2 hard-boiled egg yolks
- 2 oz skinned and boned sardines
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 slices bread, buttered
Method
- 1 Rub the hard-boiled egg yolks and sardines together in a bowl until they form a smooth paste.
- 2 Stir in the lemon juice and season to taste.
- 3 Spread the mixture evenly over the buttered toast strips.
- 4 Serve immediately, either hot or cold.
