Salt Pork Fish Chowder
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb fat salt pork
- 1 onion
- 2 cups fish
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Water to cover
- 2 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 pint boiling milk
- 12 water crackers
Method
- 1 Cook salt pork, onion, fish, salt, pepper, water, and potatoes slowly, covered, for 1 hour.
- 2 Add boiling milk and water crackers.
