Salmon Loaf With Celery And Parsley
Ingredients
- 1 can salmon (15.5 oz)
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon melted margarine
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1 cup milk (1%)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 large egg
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly oil a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- 2 Drain salmon, remove skin if desired, and mash bones with the meat.
- 3 Add bread crumbs, onion, margarine, celery, lemon juice, parsley, and egg to the salmon.
- 4 Stir in enough milk to make the mixture moist but not runny.
- 5 Press mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
- 6 Bake for 45 minutes. Serve warm.
