Sally Lunn Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pint flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- 2 Beat egg yolks with milk and melted butter. Stir into dry ingredients.
- 3 Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- 4 Pour into greased muffin pans and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
