Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pint flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. 2 Beat egg yolks with milk and melted butter. Stir into dry ingredients.
  3. 3 Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  4. 4 Pour into greased muffin pans and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
