Sage And Onion Stuffing
Ingredients
- 4 onions
- ½ lb bread crumbs
- 7 sage leaves
- 1 oz butter
- Pepper and salt
Method
- 1 Blanch onions in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
- 2 Boil onions in fresh water for 1 hour until tender. Add sage leaves in the last 5 minutes.
- 3 Drain onions and sage, then chop finely.
- 4 Mix chopped mixture with bread crumbs, butter, pepper, and salt.
