Sage And Onion Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 4 onions
  • ½ lb bread crumbs
  • 7 sage leaves
  • 1 oz butter
  • Pepper and salt

Method

  1. 1 Blanch onions in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.
  2. 2 Boil onions in fresh water for 1 hour until tender. Add sage leaves in the last 5 minutes.
  3. 3 Drain onions and sage, then chop finely.
  4. 4 Mix chopped mixture with bread crumbs, butter, pepper, and salt.
