Saffron Vanilla Rice Pudding
Ingredients
- Rice
- Cold water
- Salt
- Milk
- Vanilla
- Egg yolks (1-2)
- Sugar
- Saffron
Method
- 1 Wash rice in cold water, then heat it in a little water with a dust of salt.
- 2 Flavor milk with vanilla, pour over rice, and cook in the oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- 3 Remove from heat, stir in egg yolks, sweeten with sugar, and color with saffron.
- 4 Turn out into a dish and let it get very cold before serving.
