Saffron Vanilla Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • Rice
  • Cold water
  • Salt
  • Milk
  • Vanilla
  • Egg yolks (1-2)
  • Sugar
  • Saffron

Method

  1. 1 Wash rice in cold water, then heat it in a little water with a dust of salt.
  2. 2 Flavor milk with vanilla, pour over rice, and cook in the oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Remove from heat, stir in egg yolks, sweeten with sugar, and color with saffron.
  4. 4 Turn out into a dish and let it get very cold before serving.
