Rye Yeast Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 lb fine rye flour
- Salt to taste
- 1 egg yolk
- Small cupful yeast
- Warm new milk
- Butter
Method
- 1 Mix rye flour, salt, egg yolk, yeast, warm milk, and butter together.
- 2 Let the dough stand for one hour to rise.
- 3 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) for half an hour.
