  • 1 lb fine rye flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Small cupful yeast
  • Warm new milk
  • Butter

Method

  1. 1 Mix rye flour, salt, egg yolk, yeast, warm milk, and butter together.
  2. 2 Let the dough stand for one hour to rise.
  3. 3 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) for half an hour.
