Rye Milk Rolls With Nuts
Ingredients
- 4 cups rye flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 6 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Method
- 1 Mix dry ingredients thoroughly.
- 2 Add milk, nuts and melted shortening.
- 3 Knead dough.
- 4 Shape into rolls and place into greased pans.
- 5 Let stand for one-half hour.
- 6 Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
