Rose Wine Fruit Salad With Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Hungarian wine
  • 1 handful fresh rose petals
  • 1 quart mixed fruit (peaches, strawberries, cherries)
  • 1 cup thick cream
  • Powdered sugar, to taste

Method

  1. 1 Steep rose petals in Hungarian wine for 1-2 hours, then strain.
  2. 2 Prepare fruit: quarter peaches, halve strawberries, and stone cherries. Chill thoroughly.
  3. 3 Steep a separate handful of rose petals in thick cream for 1-2 hours, then strain.
  4. 4 Sweeten the infused cream slightly with powdered sugar and whip to stiff peaks.
  5. 5 Pour the wine over the chilled fruit and garnish with the whipped rose cream.
