Rose Wine Fruit Salad With Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 1 cup Hungarian wine
- 1 handful fresh rose petals
- 1 quart mixed fruit (peaches, strawberries, cherries)
- 1 cup thick cream
- Powdered sugar, to taste
Method
- 1 Steep rose petals in Hungarian wine for 1-2 hours, then strain.
- 2 Prepare fruit: quarter peaches, halve strawberries, and stone cherries. Chill thoroughly.
- 3 Steep a separate handful of rose petals in thick cream for 1-2 hours, then strain.
- 4 Sweeten the infused cream slightly with powdered sugar and whip to stiff peaks.
- 5 Pour the wine over the chilled fruit and garnish with the whipped rose cream.
