Rose Water Almond Cream

Ingredients

  • 8 oz almond paste
  • 1 qt heavy cream
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • sugar to taste

Method

  1. 1 Beat almond paste with rose water until smooth. Strain into a skillet with the cream and cinnamon stick.
  2. 2 Boil the mixture over medium heat, stirring continually until it thickens.
  3. 3 Remove from heat, stir in sugar to taste, and serve cold.
