Rose Extract Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon rose extract
- 2 cups flour
Method
- 1 Cream Crisco and gradually add sugar.
- 2 Stir in well-beaten eggs, salt, and rose extract.
- 3 Mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
- 4 Chill dough, then roll very thin using sugar to dust the surface.
- 5 Cut with a small fancy cutter and place on greased baking sheets.
- 6 Bake in a 350°F oven for 8-10 minutes until slightly browned.
