Roasted Clams With Butter And Lemon
Ingredients
- 3 dozen clams in their shells
- Lemon wedges
- Melted butter
- Salt
Method
- 1 Wash the clams thoroughly and arrange them in a single layer in a roasting pan.
- 2 Roast in a moderate oven (350°F) until the shells open, about 10-12 minutes.
- 3 Remove from oven. Remove the top shell and sprinkle with salt.
- 4 Serve immediately in the lower shell with lemon wedges and melted butter.
