Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Orange Chili Glaze
Ingredients
- 5 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved (about 1 pound)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup 100% orange juice
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon chili paste
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest (optional)
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 450°F with a rimmed baking sheet on the middle rack.
- 2 Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- 3 Arrange sprouts cut side down on the hot baking sheet. Roast for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden.
- 4 While sprouts roast, combine orange juice, vinegar, honey, and chili paste in a saucepan. Boil over medium-high heat for 5-10 minutes until syrupy.
- 5 Remove sauce from heat. Place roasted sprouts in a large bowl, pour sauce over, and toss to combine.
- 6 Transfer to a serving plate and top with lemon zest before serving.
