Roasted Bell Peppers With Italian Seasoning

  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 450°F. Wash bell peppers, remove tops and seeds, then cut in half.
  2. 2 Rub pepper halves with vegetable oil. Place cut side up on a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. 3 Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4 Roast for 30 to 35 minutes until tender and blistered in spots.
