Roast Lamb With Onion And Mint Sauce
Ingredients
- Lamb roast
- 1-2 thin slices onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- Brown gravy or mint sauce (for serving)
Method
- 1 Wipe the lamb with a damp cloth and place it in a roasting pan.
- 2 Top with 1-2 thin slices of onion and season with salt and pepper.
- 3 Roast in a hot oven (425°F) for about 20 minutes.
- 4 Reduce heat and continue roasting for 55 minutes until done.
- 5 Serve on a hot platter with brown gravy or mint sauce.
