Roast Lamb With Onion And Mint Sauce

  • Lamb roast
  • 1-2 thin slices onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Brown gravy or mint sauce (for serving)

Method

  1. 1 Wipe the lamb with a damp cloth and place it in a roasting pan.
  2. 2 Top with 1-2 thin slices of onion and season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3 Roast in a hot oven (425°F) for about 20 minutes.
  4. 4 Reduce heat and continue roasting for 55 minutes until done.
  5. 5 Serve on a hot platter with brown gravy or mint sauce.
