Roast Beef With Potatoes And Pan Gravy
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef roast
- Olive oil
- 1 cup soup stock
- Salt
- Butter
- Potatoes, peeled
- Broth or water
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
- 2 Coat the beef roast with olive oil.
- 3 Place beef in a roasting pan surrounded by peeled raw potatoes.
- 4 Pour 1 cup of broth or water into the pan.
- 5 Roast for approximately 30 minutes.
- 6 Season with salt only when half cooked.
- 7 Check doneness by pricking the meat; juices should not be bloody or too dark.
- 8 Slice and serve with the pan gravy.
