Rich Molasses Cream Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 ounces chocolate
Method
- 1 In a saucepan, combine sugar, molasses, cream, butter, and chocolate.
- 2 Place over heat and stir frequently until the mixture comes to a boil.
- 3 Continue cooking until a few drops of the mixture harden when dropped into ice water.
- 4 Pour into a well-buttered pan to a depth of about three-fourths of an inch.
- 5 Place in a very cold area to harden, then cut into squares when nearly cold.
