Rich Hot Chocolate With Whipped Cream

Ingredients

• 1 ½ oz bitter chocolate
• ¼ cup sugar
• 3 cups milk
• 1 cup boiling water
• Pinch of salt
• Whipped cream, for serving

Method

1. 1 Scald the milk in a saucepan.
2. 2 Melt the chocolate in a small saucepan over hot water.
3. 3 Add sugar, salt, and boiling water to the chocolate; stir until smooth.
4. 4 Bring the chocolate mixture to a boil for one minute.
5. 5 Gradually stir the hot chocolate into the scalded milk.
6. 6 Serve in cups topped with whipped cream.
