Rich Buttery Pie Crust
Ingredients
- 2 lbs fine flour
- 1.5 lbs good salt butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 pint spring water
Method
- 1 Sift 2 lbs fine flour into a bowl.
- 2 Cut 1.5 lbs salt butter into small pieces and wash well in cold water.
- 3 Rub the butter and flour together gently.
- 4 Mix in 3 egg yolks beaten with 1 pint spring water.
- 5 Roll out the dough, fold it in half three times, and it is ready.
