Rice And Butter Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cups flour
- ½ cup cold boiled rice
- 2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 egg, well beaten
Method
- 1 Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- 2 Melt the butter and rub it into the cold boiled rice.
- 3 Add the beaten egg and milk to the rice mixture.
- 4 Combine the wet and dry mixtures and beat well.
- 5 Pour into buttered muffin tins and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
