Rhubarb Pastry Pockets
Ingredients
- pastry dough
- rhubarb
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- egg wash
Method
- 1 Roll pastry to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into 4-inch squares.
- 2 Place 1/2-inch rhubarb pieces and 2 tablespoons sugar on each square.
- 3 Fold dough over filling, pressing edges tightly to seal.
- 4 Brush with egg wash and bake in a slow oven (300°F) for 30 minutes.
