Raspberry White Wine Liqueur

Ingredients

  • 1 lb raspberries
  • 1 lb sugar
  • Water (for syrup)
  • Rich white wine (to taste)

Method

  1. 1 Bruise raspberries with a spoon and strain to extract the juice.
  2. 2 Dissolve the sugar in water to make a syrup, then add it to the raspberry juice in a bottle.
  3. 3 Stopper the bottle loosely and let it stand for 4 to 5 days.
  4. 4 Pour the mixture from the fruit into a basin.
  5. 5 Add rich white wine to taste, then bottle the liqueur.
  6. 6 Let it rest for one month before drinking.
