Raspberry Brandy Cordial
Ingredients
- 1 quart ripe red raspberries
- 1 quart French brandy
- Water (to taste)
- 1 pound powdered loaf sugar per gallon of cordial
Method
- 1 Combine raspberries and brandy in a container.
- 2 Let the mixture steep for about one week.
- 3 Strain through a sieve or bag, pressing out all liquid.
- 4 Add water to reduce strength to your taste.
- 5 Add 1 pound powdered sugar per gallon of liquid.
- 6 Let stand until refined and clear.
