Raisins And Cranberry Conserve

Ingredients

  • 1 quart cranberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup seeded raisins

Method

  1. 1 Remove bruised berries from 1 quart cranberries. Place in a saucepan with 1 cup water.
  2. 2 Cook slowly until berries are soft, then rub through a sieve.
  3. 3 Return puree to saucepan and add 2 cups sugar and 1 cup seeded raisins.
  4. 4 Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. 5 Pour into a dish and set aside to cool.
