Puffy Oven Baked Omelet

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ½ cup milk

Method

  1. 1 Separate eggs. Mix salt, pepper, baking powder, cornstarch, and milk with the egg yolks.
  2. 2 Beat egg whites until light, then gently fold them into the yolk mixture.
  3. 3 Pour into a greased, hot frying pan and cook slowly until well puffed.
  4. 4 Finish cooking in a 350°F oven to dry out, fold in half, and serve immediately.
