Puffy Oven Baked Omelet
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ cup milk
Method
- 1 Separate eggs. Mix salt, pepper, baking powder, cornstarch, and milk with the egg yolks.
- 2 Beat egg whites until light, then gently fold them into the yolk mixture.
- 3 Pour into a greased, hot frying pan and cook slowly until well puffed.
- 4 Finish cooking in a 350°F oven to dry out, fold in half, and serve immediately.
