Potato Meat Rissoles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed boiled potatoes
  • 1 cup finely minced cold meat
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, for washing
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • Oil or fat for frying
  • Fried parsley for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Mash the boiled potatoes with butter. Add the finely minced cold meat and mix thoroughly.
  2. 2 Stir in the beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into balls or egg shapes.
  3. 3 Dip the shapes in the remaining egg, then coat evenly with bread crumbs.
  4. 4 Fry in hot fat until golden brown. Drain, dish on a napkin, and garnish with fried parsley.
