Potato Meat Rissoles
Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed boiled potatoes
- 1 cup finely minced cold meat
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, for washing
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Oil or fat for frying
- Fried parsley for garnish
Method
- 1 Mash the boiled potatoes with butter. Add the finely minced cold meat and mix thoroughly.
- 2 Stir in the beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into balls or egg shapes.
- 3 Dip the shapes in the remaining egg, then coat evenly with bread crumbs.
- 4 Fry in hot fat until golden brown. Drain, dish on a napkin, and garnish with fried parsley.
