Potato Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed potato
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- About ½ cup milk or water
Method
- 1 Add melted fat to mashed potato.
- 2 Mix and sift flour, baking powder, and salt, then add to the potato mixture.
- 3 Add enough milk to make a soft dough.
- 4 Roll out ½ inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
- 5 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) for 15 minutes.
