Potato And Onion Puff Pastry Pie
Ingredients
- 1 pound potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
- 3/4 ounce onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 ounces fresh butter, cut into small bits
- Puff pastry
- Water
Method
- 1 Slice potatoes thin and layer them in a pie dish.
- 2 Between each layer of potatoes, add chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
- 3 Add a little water to the dish.
- 4 Place small bits of butter on top of the potatoes.
- 5 Cover the dish with puff pastry.
- 6 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for about an hour and a half.
