Potato And Onion Puff Pastry Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pound potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 3/4 ounce onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 ounces fresh butter, cut into small bits
  • Puff pastry
  • Water

Method

  1. 1 Slice potatoes thin and layer them in a pie dish.
  2. 2 Between each layer of potatoes, add chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3 Add a little water to the dish.
  4. 4 Place small bits of butter on top of the potatoes.
  5. 5 Cover the dish with puff pastry.
  6. 6 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for about an hour and a half.
