Pomegranate Pear Salsa
Ingredients
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds (approximately 1 pomegranate)
- 2 large pears, diced
- 2 tablespoons shallots, finely diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 ounce pomegranate juice (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Method
- 1 Wash hands with soap and water.
- 2 Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix until well incorporated.
- 3 Serve over chicken or fish or as a snack with whole wheat pita chips.
