Poached Seasoned Meatballs
Ingredients
- cooked meat, chopped very fine
- salt
- pepper
- thyme
- onion juice
- lemon juice
- herbs (optional)
- egg yolk
- flour for rolling
Method
- 1 Chop cooked meat very fine and season with salt, pepper, thyme, onion juice, lemon juice, and herbs if desired.
- 2 Add enough egg yolk to moisten and bind the meat mixture.
- 3 Mold the mixture into balls, approximately 1/2 inch in diameter.
- 4 Roll the balls in flour.
- 5 Poach in boiling water or fry in butter until cooked through.
