Poached Peaches With Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 10 oz sugar
- 1 pint water
- 1 dozen peaches
- ½ pint whipped cream
Method
- 1 Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes.
- 2 Pare peaches and simmer in syrup for 20 minutes.
- 3 Remove peaches and place on a glass dish.
- 4 Reduce syrup and pour over peaches.
- 5 When cold, cover with whipped cream.
