Poached Peaches With Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 10 oz sugar
  • 1 pint water
  • 1 dozen peaches
  • ½ pint whipped cream

Method

  1. 1 Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes.
  2. 2 Pare peaches and simmer in syrup for 20 minutes.
  3. 3 Remove peaches and place on a glass dish.
  4. 4 Reduce syrup and pour over peaches.
  5. 5 When cold, cover with whipped cream.
