Plain Crisco Pie Crust

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cold water

Method

  1. 1 Sift flour and salt together.
  2. 2 Cut Crisco into flour with a knife until finely divided.
  3. 3 Add cold water gradually, mixing with a knife, until a stiff paste forms.
  4. 4 Form dough lightly and quickly by hand.
  5. 5 Roll out on a floured board to 1/4 inch thickness.
