Ingredients

  • oatmeal, finely ground
  • salt
  • water

Method

  1. 1 Mix finely ground oatmeal with a little salt and enough water to form a stiff dough.
  2. 2 Roll the dough on a floured board to 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. 3 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) in one sheet until dry, hard, and gray in color, without browning.
  4. 4 Break the baked sheet into irregular pieces.
