Plain Baked Oat Cakes
Ingredients
- oatmeal, finely ground
- salt
- water
Method
- 1 Mix finely ground oatmeal with a little salt and enough water to form a stiff dough.
- 2 Roll the dough on a floured board to 1/8-inch thickness.
- 3 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) in one sheet until dry, hard, and gray in color, without browning.
- 4 Break the baked sheet into irregular pieces.
