Pineapple And Green Pepper Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup pineapple chunks (8-ounce can, undrained)
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pound boneless pork chops
- 4 medium green peppers
Method
- 1 Cut green peppers into strips.
- 2 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 3 Add pork chops and sprinkle with salt. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat on each side until no longer pink.
- 4 Remove pork and set aside on a serving dish.
- 5 Add green pepper strips to the skillet. Stir in pineapple chunks with juice, ginger, and cinnamon.
- 6 Simmer for 3-5 minutes, then spoon the pineapple mixture over the pork.
