Pickled Oyster Canapes With Mayonnaise
Ingredients
- 1 pint pickled oysters
- Bread slices, crusts removed
- Red pepper
- Seasoned mayonnaise
Method
- 1 Cut bread slices into squares, toast them, and remove the crusts.
- 2 Remove the hard part from the pickled oysters.
- 3 Place oysters closely together on the bread squares.
- 4 Dust thickly with red pepper.
- 5 Cover with a thin layer of highly seasoned mayonnaise and serve immediately.
