Pickled Beet And Cabbage Relish
Ingredients
- 1 quart chopped beets
- 1 quart chopped cabbage
- 1 cup ground horseradish
- 1 cup brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- About 3 cups vinegar
Method
- 1 Combine chopped beets, cabbage, ground horseradish, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- 2 Pour enough vinegar over the mixture to moisten well, using about 3 cups.
- 3 Heat the mixture and seal in jars.
