Pepper Buttered Macaroni

Ingredients

  • 8 oz macaroni
  • 2 oz butter
  • Whole black pepper
  • Salt
  • 4 oz grated sharp cheese

Method

  1. 1 Boil macaroni in salted water with whole pepper and a little salt until al dente. Do not overcook.
  2. 2 Drain and mix the hot macaroni with butter and grated cheese until well combined.
  3. 3 Transfer the mixture to a buttered baking dish.
  4. 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 15 minutes until heated through and lightly browned.
