Pepper Buttered Macaroni
Ingredients
- 8 oz macaroni
- 2 oz butter
- Whole black pepper
- Salt
- 4 oz grated sharp cheese
Method
- 1 Boil macaroni in salted water with whole pepper and a little salt until al dente. Do not overcook.
- 2 Drain and mix the hot macaroni with butter and grated cheese until well combined.
- 3 Transfer the mixture to a buttered baking dish.
- 4 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 15 minutes until heated through and lightly browned.
