Peanut Butter Fruit Pita Pockets
Ingredients
- 1 medium whole wheat pita pocket
- 2 tablespoons reduced-fat chunky peanut butter
- ½ apple, cored and thinly sliced
- ½ banana, thinly sliced
- 1 fresh peach, thinly sliced
Method
- 1 Cut the pita pocket in half to create 4 pockets. Warm them in the microwave for 10 seconds to make them flexible.
- 2 Carefully open each pocket and spread a thin layer of peanut butter on the inside walls.
- 3 Fill each pocket with a combination of sliced apple, banana, and peach. Serve at room temperature.
