Peanut Butter Fruit Pita Pockets

Ingredients

  • 1 medium whole wheat pita pocket
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-fat chunky peanut butter
  • ½ apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • ½ banana, thinly sliced
  • 1 fresh peach, thinly sliced

Method

  1. 1 Cut the pita pocket in half to create 4 pockets. Warm them in the microwave for 10 seconds to make them flexible.
  2. 2 Carefully open each pocket and spread a thin layer of peanut butter on the inside walls.
  3. 3 Fill each pocket with a combination of sliced apple, banana, and peach. Serve at room temperature.
