Peanut Brittle
Ingredients
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon fat
- 1 cup peanuts
Method
- 1 Boil corn syrup and fat until the mixture becomes brittle when tested in cold water.
- 2 Grease a pan, sprinkle roasted and shelled peanuts evenly on the bottom, then pour in the hot syrup.
- 3 Allow the candy to cool until almost cold, then mark into squares.
