Peach Leaf Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons rice
  • 1 pint water
  • 1 quart milk
  • ¼ pound sugar
  • 3-4 peach leaves or a few peach kernels
  • 2 egg yolks

Method

  1. 1 Boil rice in water until quite soft.
  2. 2 Drain rice through a sieve.
  3. 3 Combine rice with milk, sugar, and peach leaves or kernels; boil.
  4. 4 Remove leaves or kernels, then stir in egg yolks before serving.
