Peach Leaf Rice Pudding
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons rice
- 1 pint water
- 1 quart milk
- ¼ pound sugar
- 3-4 peach leaves or a few peach kernels
- 2 egg yolks
Method
- 1 Boil rice in water until quite soft.
- 2 Drain rice through a sieve.
- 3 Combine rice with milk, sugar, and peach leaves or kernels; boil.
- 4 Remove leaves or kernels, then stir in egg yolks before serving.
