Peach Apple Crisp
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 ounce) peaches, in light syrup, drained, sliced
- 2 medium tart apples, peeled, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons margarine, chilled
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x9x2 inch casserole dish.
- 2 Combine peaches, apples, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl. Toss well and spread evenly in the greased dish.
- 3 In a small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in margarine with two knives until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
- 4 Sprinkle the flour mixture evenly over the fruit. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until lightly browned and bubbly.
