Peach Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 ounce) peaches, in light syrup, drained, sliced
  • 2 medium tart apples, peeled, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tablespoons margarine, chilled

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x9x2 inch casserole dish.
  2. 2 Combine peaches, apples, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl. Toss well and spread evenly in the greased dish.
  3. 3 In a small bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in margarine with two knives until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
  4. 4 Sprinkle the flour mixture evenly over the fruit. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until lightly browned and bubbly.
