Pastry Flour Sour Cream Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups pastry flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ¼ cups sour cream
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 egg whites
Method
- 1 Sift together pastry flour, salt, sugar, and baking soda in a bowl.
- 2 Slowly add sour cream and well-beaten egg yolks to the dry ingredients, mixing until combined.
- 3 Gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- 4 Pour one large spoonful of batter onto a hot waffle iron and cook until done.
