Parsnip Potato Soup With Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb parsnips
  • 1/4 lb potato
  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1/4 oz butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Milk as needed

Method

  1. 1 Cut up the parsnips, potato, and onion.
  2. 2 Cook the vegetables until tender.
  3. 3 Rub the cooked vegetables through a sieve.
  4. 4 Return the mixture to a saucepan and add butter and seasoning.
  5. 5 Add enough milk to reach desired consistency, boil up, and serve.
