Parsley Lemon Bacon Oysters On Fried Bread
Ingredients
- bacon strips, cut into squares
- oysters
- finely chopped parsley
- salt and pepper
- lemon juice
- butter for frying
- stale bread, cut into squares
Method
- 1 Cut bacon into squares large enough to wrap an oyster. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, place an oyster on each, and season with pepper and lemon juice.
- 2 Roll the bacon around the oyster and fasten with a skewer. Fry in butter until the bacon is cooked through.
- 3 Fry bread squares until golden brown. Place a fried oyster on each slice and serve very hot.
