Pan Seared Veal With Bacon And Citrus Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb veal leg, sliced thin
- 4 oz bacon, sliced thin
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp butter, beaten
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp gravy
- 1 tbsp orange juice
Method
- 1 Slice the veal leg into thin pieces similar to Scotch collops of mutton.
- 2 Fry the veal slices and thin bacon slices together in sweet butter until finely fried.
- 3 Transfer the meat to a serving dish and remove the frying butter.
- 4 Stir beaten butter, lemon juice, gravy, and orange juice into the pan drippings.
- 5 Pour the sauce over the meat and serve immediately.
