Pan Roasted Rolled Veal Loin
Ingredients
- 1 piece milk veal loin
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Salt
- ½ cup broth
- Tomato sauce or diluted tomato paste (optional)
- Chopped corned beef (optional)
Method
- 1 Roll the veal loin and tie it securely with kitchen string.
- 2 Heat olive oil and butter in a pan. Brown the veal well on all sides.
- 3 Salt the meat when it is half cooked.
- 4 Add broth (or tomato sauce/paste diluted with water) and cook until done, ensuring little juice remains.
